Job Summary
Complete nursing history and initiate patient education while implementing care plans appropriate to diagnosis and evaluating outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to solve problems and coordinate unit assignments with supervision. Demonstrate competence in critical skills for the age-specific population served and supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, HUCs, techs, and sitters. Participate in unit-based committees and quality improvement initiatives while following safety standards and completing annual education assignments. Work night shifts in a 444-bed Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center offering specialized services in bariatric, robotic, and spine procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee State RN license
- CPR certification
- New graduate status within first year of orientation
- Sufficient education to meet standards for achievement of the indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority
