Job Summary
Complete nursing history and initiate patient education while implementing care plans appropriate to diagnosis and evaluating outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and problem solve unit assignments with supervision. Demonstrate competence in critical skills for age-specific populations and supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards while completing required annual education assignments and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Provide professional nursing care within an assigned emergency department unit at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee RN license
- CPR certification
- New graduate status within first year of orientation
- Sufficient education to meet standards for achievement of the indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority
