Clin Lab Technologist II - Chemistry

Clinical Chemistry-focused laboratory role performing testing to aid diagnosis and monitor treatment. Utilizes knowledge and experience to conduct tests with independence under limited supervision, compiles and documents results, and communicates findings to customers and colleagues. Operates automated instruments, microscopes, and cell counters; performs maintenance and quality control procedures; adheres to the department’s Chemical Hygiene Plan and HIPAA-related protections. Role supports Albany Med Health System, with an evening shift and exposure to infectious/hazardous chemicals as described in the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
