Job Summary
Perform testing and compile reports on laboratory specimens to aid clinicians in disease detection, diagnosis, and illness monitoring. Thoroughly, accurately, and legibly document test results and quality control procedures while utilizing automated equipment, microscopes, and cell counters. Exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision in qualified specialties, directing work under the Laboratory Supervisor. Cooperatively communicate with customers and employees while adhering to chemical hygiene plans regarding infectious and hazardous chemicals. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA and federal statutes.
Required Qualifications
