Job Summary

Train and manage staff to deliver a safe, impactful aerial program while monitoring equipment conditions to remove unsafe gear. Provide periodic performance evaluations, maintain paperwork and inventory control, and write end-of-season reports with operational recommendations. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions, ensuring a clean, organized, and inspected work area. Perform additional duties assigned by leadership and adhere to SBR staff handbook policies. Requires BSA C.O.P.E. Director National Camp School Card, one year leading teams, and at-height guiding experience. Minimum age 21. Work 45-55 hours daily involving up to eight hours of hiking and lifting 70 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 21+
  • BSA C.O.P.E. Director National Camp School Card
  • 1+ yr. leading teams
  • Documents experience guiding/facilitating and managing others while 'at-height' (6'-180')
  • Body weight between 50-250 as per the manufacture's requirement for participation
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
  • Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
