Job Summary

Facilitate engaging challenge courses at The Summit while ensuring proper use, security, and care of all program equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, and safe work area by adhering to SBR staff handbook policies and procedures. Use mandated safety equipment effectively and model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions. Assist with facility maintenance tasks and perform additional duties assigned by leadership. Complete lead Facilitator training and register as a Scouting America member with background screening. Work 45-55 hours daily standing, walking, and hiking up to 8 hours while lifting up to 65 pounds. Operate at heights of 6' to 180' and connect with diverse age groups using Microsoft Teams for communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Must be able to complete lead Facilitator Training (provided)
  • Comfortable at heights of 6' to 180' and weight between 50-250 for equipment manufacturer standards
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 65 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
