Job Summary
Lead a crew of three in tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding using safe climbing and rigging techniques. Operate bucket trucks and maintain equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and ropes. Perform tree health assessments and identify species while ensuring job site safety through pre-work risk assessments and equipment inspections. Communicate with clients and team members to deliver service, complete daily logs, and maintain clean work sites. Requires valid Ontario DZ driver's license, 2-3 years of experience, and physical fitness for heights and lifting. Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm (40 hours). Year-round work with signing bonus, quoting incentives, and full benefits including medical, dental, and TFSA matching.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of Arborist experience, including climbing and crew leadership
- Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean abstract
- Proficient tree identification skills
- Comfort climbing daily
- Knowledge of safe rigging, pruning, and removal techniques
- Physically fit to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- ISA Certified Arborist or eligibility to obtain certification
- Valid First Aid certification
- Air Brake Endorsement
