Job Summary
Conduct tree climbing, manual removal of vegetation from work areas, and perform line clearance, pruning, and removals while safely operating forestry equipment including woodchippers, bucket trucks, and chainsaws. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions at heights up to 75 feet within a team environment. Obtain a CDL A or B license within six months and maintain required industry certifications. Complete post-offer physical, drug screen, and background checks. This full-time, year-round role offers free on-the-job training, paid licensing, and wage increases for earned certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 6 - 12 months' experience in the tree care industry
- utility line clearance experience
- significant climbing experience
- willingness to learn
- 45 hours a week
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent
- physically able to perform the requirements of the position
- willingness to work at varying heights up to 75 feet
- willingness and ability to learn how to run a bucket truck & operate equipment safely
- willingness and ability to obtain a CDL A or B license within the first 6 months of employment
- willingness and ability to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required by the position
- ability to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen
- ability to successfully complete a background and motor vehicle check
