Job Summary
Trim or remove trees near energized utility power lines under direct supervision, utilizing aerial lift trucks, chainsaws, and ropes. Operate power equipment including trucks, power saws, winches, trim lifts, chippers, and sprayers while applying chemicals to brushes and stumps. Perform routine assignments as ground person, crew spotter, or crew flagger, frequently lifting 1 to 15 pounds and occasionally handling up to 50 pounds. Work continuously outdoors with frequent walking, pushing, and pulling, and climb trees or use hydraulic and pneumatic tools as needed to restore electrical power during storm efforts.
