Job Summary
The Climber performs climbing, pruning, and removal of trees in electric utility vegetation management. Responsibilities include following safety directives, loading/unloading materials, operating hand tools and gas-powered saws, ensuring tool safety, enforcing safe work practices around the job site, assisting with storm restoration duties, and traveling for storm work as needed. Requirements include 1-2 years of climbing experience in line clearance, high school diploma or equivalent preferred, ability to work at heights, pass a background check and drug screen, and ability to obtain first-aid/CPR certification; travel and I-9/E-Verify compliance are noted alongside benefits and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years previous professional experience climbing in line clearance is required
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Must meet I-9 requirements and participate in E-Verify
