Job Summary
Direct the team in tree trimming, pruning, and removal services using bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging systems on residential and commercial properties. Plan and organize jobs to ensure sufficient resources, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and enforce company policies. Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and time sheets, while meeting productivity targets. Perform climbing and pruning with proper techniques, clear debris, and handle on-site personnel issues. Full-time role requiring a valid driver's license, two years of tree climbing experience, and mechanical aptitude. Schedule may include weekends; subject to background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license insurable with company's insurers
- Mechanical aptitude
- Subject to MVR, DOT and criminal background check
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind
- Position is expected to be full-time and may be scheduled on weekdays and weekends
- Must be able to frequently reach for, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to and over 75lbs

Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of standard landscaping and horticultural practices
- Two years' experience climbing and pruning trees
- Two years' experience in the landscaping field
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Aptitude in basic mathematical skills, job-planning, and problem-solving
- High School Diploma or GED
