Job Summary
Conduct vertical sales for Climate Solutions equipment and services by calling on customers, building relationships, and negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly. Progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone while providing specialized solutions based on technical features of the equipment. Deliver equipment, perform installations, and offer customer product training as needed. Maintain attention to detail with sales technology tools and strong organizational skills. Available for on-call rotation to provide after-hour service and response. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 45 pounds, and safe operation of a forklift, lift gate, and box truck.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
- Ability to safely operate a forklift, lift gate and box truck
- Ability to progress the entire sales process in person or over the telephone
- Capable of negotiating individual transactions and contracts directly with the customer
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to learn the technical features of the (Climate Solutions) equipment
- Attention to detail with regard to the sales technology tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Available for on call rotation to provide after hour service and response
- Willingness to provide equipment delivery, installation, and customer product training
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years' sales experience in small A/C and heating rentals and related services
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM
