Job Summary
The Climate Solutions Navigator conducts outreach, education, and one-on-one resident support in Central California to help eligible households access government and utility incentive programs across Climate Equity and Environmental Justice initiatives (CEEJ, CARES, SJV Air). Responsibilities include educating communities on electrification and health benefits, performing preliminary eligibility screenings, enrolling clients in appropriate programs, assisting with applications and required documents, coordinating with partner organizations, and providing case management and timely follow-up to ensure successful program outcomes. The role entails coordinating workshops, supporting communications with contractors and financial partners, and maintaining confidentiality of client information. Needs include strong communication skills (English/Spanish preferred), ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel within California for events and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in community outreach, case management, or related field
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Familiarity with state and regional incentive programs related to clean transportation, energy efficiency, or environmental justice preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
