Job Summary
Manage assigned climate loan relationships by reviewing project performance reports, analyzing financial statements, and monitoring covenant compliance. Underwrite and recommend loan modifications, renewals, and waivers while preparing credit memoranda and risk rating recommendations in accordance with Bank policy. Coordinate with legal counsel, third-party vendors, and internal partners to ensure effective loan administration and accurate credit file maintenance. Identify emerging risks, escalate concerns to management, and provide secondary approval for advances. Collaborate with relationship managers and underwriters to support team members through knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent commercial credit experience
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in commercial banking, project finance, structured finance, or climate/renewable energy lending
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements, cash flows, and financial models to assess borrower and project performance
- Working knowledge of commercial loan structures, collateral, covenants and credit risk principles
- Experience preparing credit memoranda risk rating recommendations and loan approval packages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized credit analysis
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and collaborative work style
- Ability to exercise sound judgment within established policies and escalate issues appropriately
- Hybrid work schedule consisting of three days or more, on-site per week, Monday - Thursday
Desired Qualifications
- Develop familiarity with software applications such as Salesforce, Moody's Credit Lens, SLACK, etc.
