Job Summary
Join our team in School Age Childcare with positions available as Activities Assistant, Group Leader, and Site Supervisor I or II. Responsibilities include supervising children, implementing activities, and ensuring a safe environment. Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
- 1 year experience working with children
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2 years experience working with children under 13
- Associate’s degree, School Age Childcare Credential, or 18 college credits in a related field
- 2 years experience with children under 13
- 1 year supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
- Child Abuse Prevention (Supervisory Staff) training
- CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (to be completed within 30 days of hire)
