Job Summary

The role provides technical support for networked AV equipment and control systems, ensuring proper operation, maintenance, monitoring, testing, and repair of AV hardware and software. Responsibilities include overseeing delivery and troubleshooting of educational, conferencing, and general event content; establishing configuration baselines, maintaining system security via Group Policy, and providing protection and recovery support for client data. The analyst coordinates schedulers and technicians to set up university events, assists with installation and usability of system hardware/software, tracks and documents repair work orders, attends trainings, researches new AV technologies, and supports training of student workers. Also involved are inventory management, documentation of procedures, and communication with Field Services to resolve issues and drive project progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
  • Three (3) years of related experience in computing and audio/video communications, presentation technologies, and system troubleshooting
