Client Stabilization Specialist Night Shift

Job Summary

Conduct intakes into HMIS, provide orientation on rules and resources, and perform face-to-face visits and perimeter walks to stabilize individuals and families entering shelter or temporary lodging. Escalate issues impacting stabilization, communicate identified needs regarding substance use, mental health, and medical care to leadership and coordinators, and complete data entry for violations, end-of-shift notes, and room checks. Identify requirements for housing prioritization assessments for all individuals. This seasonal role operates during peak heat periods from May to October, requiring a high school diploma, six months of recovery from substance use or mental health disorders, and a valid identification card.

Required Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
  • Valid Identification
  • AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (Program Specific)

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of full-time health care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
  • Will complete CBI Peer Certification within 90-days of being hired
