Job Summary
Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships with customers and the community. Drive sales and service metrics through clientelling/outreach and appointment setting, while actively sharing current products and fashion trends. Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs, seek to understand customer needs with curiosity and confidence, and represent the Talbots brand professionally. Participate in community/store events, maintain brand image, and adapt to a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays). This role emphasizes relationship-building, exceptional service, and teamwork in a store environment, with an emphasis on open availability for 20–29 hours per week and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Open availability of 20–29 hours per week
- Comfortable climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 lbs
- possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technological aptitude to navigate POS/computer/iPad/handheld systems
- Team-oriented with strong relationship-building and customer-service mindset
