Job Summary
Client Specialist on the Commercial Term Lending team supports one or more Client Managers and serves as a contact point for customers to resolve issues across multiple departments. Facilitates the application process, requests documentation, discusses products and pricing, and locks in interest rates at the Client Manager’s request. Develops knowledge of treasury services to assist customers with opening accounts and collaborates with the Treasury Management Officer on payments and liquidity sales. Manages the sales pipeline, coordinates Letter of Interest submissions and loan closings, reviews complex files, and helps fund loans while building relationships with clients and real estate brokers. Aims to achieve high originations, retain existing clients, and provide high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mortgage lending with inside sales/customer service background
- Excellent desktop skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Superior written and oral communication
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
- Strong organizational and execution skills including ability to multitask and work independently across various levels in the organization
