Job Summary
Client Specialist within the Commercial Term Lending team supporting one or more Client Managers. Serves as a primary contact for customers to resolve issues across departments, facilitates the application process, requests documentation, discusses products and pricing, and helps clients understand treasury services through collaboration with the Treasury Management Officer. Responsibilities include coordinating LOI submissions and loan closings, reviewing complex files, managing the pipeline, and assisting in building customer and real estate broker relationships through marketing activities and events. Aims to achieve high originations and retain existing clients with strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mortgage lending, with inside sales/customer service background.
- Excellent desktop skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Superior written and oral communication.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand.
- Strong organizational and execution skills including ability to multitask and work independently across various levels in the organization.
- College graduate preferred.
- Ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and remain courteous and professional in a team environment.
- Professional, thorough, and organized with follow-up skills, ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
- Superior interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail and time management.
