Client Servies Worker

The Salvation Army is seeking an entry-level Client Services Worker to help provide a safe, home-like environment for program participants and visitors. Responsibilities include greeting and screening entrants, intake/discharge processes, ensuring policy adherence, conducting security checks, assisting with medications as ordered, applying de-escalation techniques, documenting interactions, and performing administrative duties. The role requires strong communication, compassion, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially challenging environment. Candidates should have post-secondary education or training in a human-service field (or be enrolled in related studies), current First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification (asset), Vulnerable Sector Check, and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with MS Office/Outlook and the ability to collaborate with external agencies while upholding The Salvation Army values is essential.
