Job Summary
Client Services Specialist or Senior Client Services Specialist responsible for delivering high-quality service and operational support for Schwab brokerage accounts, including complex new account openings, onboarding with custodial paperwork, delivery of ADV disclosures, and ongoing maintenance. Key duties include maintaining client and account records in CRM and portfolio-management systems, coordinating annual RMD calculations and distributions, performing data exports and ad-hoc analysis, and assisting with training new team members. Requires strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to build lasting client relationships; 3+ years in financial services and familiarity with wealth-management practices, CRM tooling, and Schwab custodians are preferred. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence required at least 2 days per week in Lake Oswego, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a financial services firm
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with RIA Custodians and utilizing a CRM
- Broad knowledge of Investment Advisory practices, processes, and an understanding of wealth management
- Skilled in time management and willingly sharing Team responsibilities; sharing workflow and projects as appropriate
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience with Charles Schwab (Custodian), Salentica Engage (CRM), and Tamarac (Portfolio Management)
- Experience with alternative investments and SMAs
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with RIA Custodians and utilizing a CRM
