Job Summary
Greet clients, families, and visitors while managing front office activities including scheduling, benefit verification, payment collection, and administrative workflows. Perform and document preliminary physical assessments, obtain vital signs, collect health histories, and screen for urgent medical or psychiatric concerns. Coordinate admissions, urine drug screens, and laboratory specimens, then submit completed assessments to a supervising RN for review and signature. Maintain accurate electronic records, manage office supplies, and provide client education within the LPN scope of practice. Operate under the supervision of a designated RN or physician, ensuring all activities adhere to approved protocols and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a practical nursing education program approved by the applicable board of nursing
- Current, active, and unrestricted Georgia license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- Higher education
- Minimum one year of licensed practical nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, outpatient care, or a medical office setting
- Experience with scheduling, benefit verification, collections, or front office operations
