Job Summary
Conduct customer training to support program roll-outs and educate clients on pharmacy technologies. Identify early warning signs of potential issues, perform medication cart and room audits, and verify medication cycle fills. Build relationships with facility administration while serving as the single point of contact for all customer inquiries. Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA during these duties. This role supports skilled nursing and assisted living facilities within Polaris Pharmacy Services' long-term care network. Candidates must possess pharmacy technician licenses, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work various shifts in a 24/7 environment.
Required Qualifications
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Ability to physically perform light lifting
- Must be able to work various shifts and days
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice or med tech certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of brand name/generic medications
