Job Summary
Lead the Client Services and Adoptions departments by supervising concierge and coordinators, developing departmental policies, and managing schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Oversee operations and procedures, ensuring compliance with shelter standards while prioritizing animal welfare, and conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support team development. Collaborate with animal care, veterinary services, and outreach teams to reunite lost pets with owners, manage the interview and onboarding process for new hires, and exhibit exceptional stewardship by managing the departmental budget. Monitor client satisfaction, analyze performance metrics, and address concerns promptly to maintain high service delivery.

- Proven ability to effectively supervise the work of assigned subordinates
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on shelter needs
- Must have a means of travel that ensures prompt arrival for work shifts
- Must pass a background check
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of leadership experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a customer service-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- One or more years' experience in animal related field preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email) and experience with database systems is a plus
- Basic animal medical and behavior knowledge (preferred)
- Fear Free Sheltering Preferred
