Job Summary
Client Services Manager II at Swiss American CDMO drives end-to-end client engagement across multiple accounts, acting as the primary liaison through the finished goods lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing 5-8 clients and 2-4 prospects, advocating for clients internally, coordinating with RID, Quality, Regulatory, Production, Shipping, Procurement, and other teams, and guiding projects to on-time, on-budget delivery. Requires deep knowledge of client products, healthcare market drivers, and the SA process, with strong communication, reporting, pricing/quoting, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The role emphasizes client-focused solutions, scenario planning, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable proposals and capabilities presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-facing role within a CDMO
- Experience in product management, project management, client services, or sales is highly preferred
- Experience in a CDMO/CMO is REQUIRED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to present information to diverse audiences (clients, colleagues, leadership)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Understanding of basic financial concepts (e.g., gross margin, overhead)
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions impacting profitability and inefficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/project management software
- Willingness to coach/mentor junior team members as needed
