Job Summary
Greet clients and attendees in person and by phone; manage high-volume patient flow in an outpatient setting; schedule appointments and assist with walk-ins; create and update client profiles in the electronic health record; verify insurance eligibility and set up billing; collect and post payments; maintain confidentiality and provide trauma-informed support; de-escalate client issues and help navigate the Recovery Connect app; perform general office duties and contribute to a welcoming reception area; adapt to a fast-paced clinic environment while upholding HIPAA and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- 1+ years of front desk experience (hospital front desk or multi-physician practice preferred)
- HIPAA/compliance awareness
- Ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Flexible with hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
