Job Summary
Senior Client Services Associate with CLO/ABL modeling expertise to join Valitana’s Vantage Client Services team. You will serve as a subject matter expert on CLO and ABL deal structures, model complex transactions within Valitana’s platform, and partner with institutional clients to ensure accurate compliance configuration, indenture interpretation, and platform adoption. This is a senior, client-facing role combining structured finance fluency, technical platform mastery, and white-glove service. Responsibilities include modeling CLO and ABL deals within Vantage, performing indenture analysis, configuring and maintaining compliance testing for managed deals and SMAs, advising institutional clients, building custom metrics and Excel models using the Valitana plugin, onboarding and driving platform adoption, and mentoring less senior team members. Qualifications include 5–7+ years in structured finance/CLO modeling, ability to translate indentures into modeling logic, deep CLO/ABL knowledge (waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limits, reinvestment criteria), strong client-facing experience, advanced Excel, and a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; AI literacy is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in structured finance, CLO modeling, fixed income, or financial operations
- direct experience modeling CLO and/or ABL deals
- ability to read and interpret indentures and translate deal terms into modeling and compliance logic
- strong understanding of CLO mechanics (waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limits, reinvestment criteria) and familiarity with ABL structures
- prior client-facing experience in consulting, client services, or relationship management
- proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, data analysis)
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- management or mentorship experience is highly valued
- AI literacy preferred — comfort using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, or client deliverables
