Job Summary
Client Services Analyst (CLO/ABL Modeler) will support modeling CLO and ABL deals within Valitana's platform, translate deal documentation into platform configurations, assist with compliance testing for managed deals/SMA accounts, deliver responsive white-glove support to institutional clients, and build custom metrics and Excel models for client-specific needs. The role includes onboarding support, data uploads, and ongoing platform usage guidance, plus contribution to internal documentation and process improvements. Requires 2–4+ years in structured finance or related analytics, proficiency in Excel, strong client-facing communication, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Math/Engineering or related field. AI literacy is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; degrees in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred
- 2–4+ years of professional experience in structured finance, fixed income, financial operations, or a related analytical role
- Exposure to CLO or ABL deals strongly preferred
- Foundational understanding of structured finance concepts (waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limitations, reinvestment criteria)
- Interest in reading and interpreting indentures and other deal documentation
- Client-facing experience in a consulting, client services, financial operations, or relationship management capacity
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Resourceful, able to work independently and with a team
- AI literacy preferred
