Job Summary
Internship role supporting client services within a healthcare solutions company. Responsibilities include interacting with clients via telephone or email, providing information on products/services, scheduling and coordinating services, handling client inquiries and complaints, maintaining client records, and performing related duties. The intern will also contribute to online marketing efforts by creating original content and suggesting strategies to attract customers and promote the brand, with a focus on increasing web traffic and customer engagement. Requires medical scheduling experience and EMR familiarity (eClinical Works preferred); bilingual abilities are upside. Office-based in Union, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ with a flexible schedule (ideally five days per week) for a six-month internship term; compensation is unpaid. The program emphasizes professional development, regulatory adherence, and potential transition opportunities based on performance. Documentation includes background checks and a post-offer drug screen; interns must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Current college student, or recent graduate
- Experience in an office setting
- Medical scheduling experience is required
- eClinical Works or similar EMR experience is preferred
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- Willingness to commit to internship program (minimum 6 months)
- Ability to commute to office in Union, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle client inquiries
- Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole preferred
