Job Summary
Client Service Specialist in the Legal Assistant Department at Heard and Smith, LLP. In a fast-paced call-center environment, you will handle 50–75 client calls per day, build and maintain client relationships, focus on client retention, maintain a 90%+ quality score on calls, keep detailed records in a paperless system, and address confidential client concerns with sound judgment. The role requires strong customer service skills, typing 40+ WPM, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work either in the office or remotely from home. Experience in Social Security Disability Law or related fields is preferred, and Spanish language ability is a plus. This is a full-time position (Mon–Fri) with benefits, including holidays, PTO, medical benefits, 401k with employer contributions, and potential salary progression during the first 180 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma; Degree preferred; or equivalent combination
- Customer service experience
- Call center experience
- Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
- Ability to meet performance standards whether in office or working remotely from home
- Knowledge in computer technology and the Internet (MS Office Outlook)
- Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
