Job Summary
Client Service Specialist responsible for transaction follow-up, operational setup of new SMA accounts, and account-transition analysis, with potential relationship-management duties. Role requires onboarding new accounts, responding to ad-hoc advisor inquiries, facilitating account-transition requests, and delivering a high-quality advisor experience to encourage Canvas usage. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in financial services or asset management (direct indexing experience a plus), and excels in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management, organizational, and communication skills; must be a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and maintain relationships with internal and external clients. Compensation includes base salary in the USD 95,000–125,000 range plus discretionary bonus, with benefits and a total-reward philosophy. Location is hybrid in Stamford, CT and New York, NY with US-based offices; remote/hybrid work options are indicated by the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience in financial services and/or asset management required
- Direct indexing provider experience in a client service or operational capacity a plus
- Strong work ethic
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
