Job Summary
Licensed insurance professional sought as Client Service Specialist- Commercial Lines to review policy coverage, underwrite individual risk, secure applications for coverage from Sales Executives/Account Managers/clients, and ensure policy accuracy and completeness. The role emphasizes client communication, account retention and growth, handling cancellations, and supporting referrals. Requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration with internal teams; proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Vertafore are a plus. College degree is preferred but a high school diploma or equivalent is required; appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education are required. The position is based in Middletown, NY with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in insurance lines of coverage, fundamental rating, underwriting and procedural skills
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with Vertafore a plus
- Appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education required
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Ability to review policy coverage, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with Account Manager
