Job Summary
Welcome clients with a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner while managing their appointment journey from check-in to discharge. Collect records and medical histories, create and deliver estimates, process payments, and prepare medications and supplies for discharge. Review medical records accurately, educate clients on services and practices, and assist with administrative duties like scanning, faxing, and emailing. Maintain a clean and inviting lobby environment. This role supports specialty and emergency care at PESCM, the only 24/7 veterinary hospital in Marin County. Weekend and overnight differentials apply to this position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in emergency & specialty veterinary hospital setting
- Experience with animal handling
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in emergency & specialty veterinary hospital setting strongly preferred
- Experience with Ezyvet and Smartflow
- Additional fluency in other languages
- Experience with animal handling (listed as preferred in context of the strong preference sentence)
