Lead practice opening and closing procedures, manage reception for visitors and telephone calls, and ensure all public areas remain clean and presentable. Process cash, checks, and credit account payments while scheduling appointments to adhere to doctor preferences and workflow. Maintain veterinary medical records, update client files, and prepare correspondence and reminder notices. Present medications and take-home items to clients, handling emergency situations with care and following established clinic policies. Perform daily business oversight and conduct system backups as directed.
