Job Summary
Provide customer service and information regarding extended health, dental, and disability claims via telephone, email, and messaging. Investigate problems by researching relevant information using claims payment systems and group contract text. Complete accurate documentation for client inquiries, escalate issues, and follow up in a fast-paced team environment. Assist plan members with web services, including password resets and navigation support. Respond to questions from members and providers about claims and coverage details. Requires a secondary school diploma with two to three years of customer service experience and knowledge of medical language.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a secondary school diploma
- 2-3 years of related experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge and understanding of medical language
- A comprehensive knowledge of group health and/or dental claims
Desired Qualifications
- Completion or working towards an insurance industry designation

- Bilingualism in English and French
