Job Summary
Client Service Associate (Operations & Alternative Investments) — Remote position focused on managing alternative investment operations, client service workflows, and custody/account maintenance within a wealth-management context. Responsibilities include coordinating subscriptions, funding, redemptions and ongoing servicing; tracking capital calls and documentation; supporting 1031/351 transactions and K-1 distributions; managing inboxes and communication flow; maintaining reporting systems; opening and maintaining custodian accounts (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.); householding and account maintenance; processing service requests and paperwork; updating DocuSign templates and custodian forms; ensuring data integrity across Black Diamond, CRM, eMoney, and Nitrogen; onboarding and ongoing client relationship support including 30-day check-ins and annual information reviews; and contributing to operational improvements and documented processes. Qualifications emphasize 5–8 years in wealth-management operations or client service, experience with custodians and multiple advisory platforms, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. Travel is described as 2+ times per year. Location stated as Remote with SF, CA hint in the data; actual structure is remote globally with no geographic restriction.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in wealth management operations or client service
- Strong familiarity with alternative investment workflows (preferred)
- Experience working with custodians and multiple advisory platforms
- High attention to detail and strong deadline management
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
