Job Summary
Lead the Client Service Administrator team by providing daily oversight of administrative functions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on internal workflow deadlines. Supervise and train current team members while supporting onboarding for new hires, and maintain full working knowledge of CSA tasks to provide hands-on assistance. Improve administrative processes by documenting standard operating procedures, suggesting best practices, and collaborating with professional staff to resolve issues. Support executive administrative needs for firm leadership and oversee facility maintenance and office oversight across multiple locations. Administer new client onboarding, maintain accurate client profiles, and assist with billing and collections.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, certificate in business, business administration coursework, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Supervisory, team lead, or strong administrative leadership experience
- Minimum of 10 years administrative, office management, or related professional office experience
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through to achieve desired results
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead by example, train others, and support team accountability
- Comfortable developing standard operating procedures and documenting best practices
- Process-oriented mindset with a desire to improve workflows and create consistency
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with leadership, administrative staff, and professional team members
- Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with client portals, e-signature tools, electronic delivery systems, and project management systems
- Flexible, service-oriented approach with willingness to step in where needed
- Based in Troy
- Travel to Ann Arbor and Bingham Farms as needed
- Expected in Ann Arbor about two days per week when local coverage is unavailable
- Periodic Bingham Farms travel required for administrative and facilities support
- Seasonal overtime required during peak periods, including longer hours and occasional weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a CPA firm, accounting firm, or professional services office
- Minimum of 10 years administrative, office management, or related professional office experience preferred
