Job Summary
Front-desk safety-focused role responsible for monitoring entrances/exits, checking clients and visitors in, and maintaining a safe, orderly environment. Duties include de-escalation of tense situations, conducting regular rounds, coordinating with service providers and administrative staff, and carrying Narcan to reverse overdoses when needed. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of lived experience with the behavioral health or criminal justice system. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavioral health systems in San Francisco, and basic documentation/logging is preferred. Pay is hourly with benefits and union eligibility.
