Job Summary
Client Relationship Manager responsible for engaging and strengthening the region’s existing client base, managing the day-to-day servicing of group retirement plan clients, coordinating plan support services, conducting plan review meetings with board members and C-suite executives, and driving client retention and growth within the assigned book of clients. Includes delivering client education campaigns and presentations, coordinating with the home office for services (audit support, 5500s, NDT testing), and leveraging relationships for new opportunities. Requires strong written and verbal communication, comfort presenting to executives, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Licenses and registrations to be obtained within the first year of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent business writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups & C-suite executives
- Client relationship management experience
- Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Active FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE or must be obtained within the first year of employment
- Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within first year of employment
- Valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Prior work experience in group retirement plan industry (preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate/group retirement plans (403(b), 401(k) and 457 plans) including: retirement plan design, investment monitoring, plan administration, compliance testing and enhanced understanding of retirement plan rules & regulations (preferred)
