Job Summary
Client Relationship Manager II responsible for the internal day-to-day client account management, coordinating with Consultants, Client Advocates, NA Operations and Support, Reporting Medical Management, Product Development, and Partner Plan Account Managers to meet client needs and resolve client issues. Participates in the implementation of new clients, assesses client benefits for setup in the Group Library, ensures accuracy of SBCs and Benefit Booklets, trains clients on E-bill, handles escalated system problems, and ensures quality of client/member materials before submission. Requires healthcare/health benefits knowledge, a Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of related experience), 4 years in account management support or client-facing roles, strong written and oral communication, analytical/problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently. Licenses include SC Life and Health Insurance License within 6 months of hire; CEBS preferred. Role is full-time in Columbia, SC with on-site start and hybrid work after 60 days (onsite first 60 days, remote Fridays, ultimately two days remote). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with health benefits systems and client training are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of experience in an account management environment in a support role and/or in a client facing or professional role in an area that supports client management (claims, customer service, membership, product development)
- SC Life and Health Insurance License (within 6 months of hire)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of health care and health benefits
- Microsoft Office
