Job Summary
Review client and prospect exposure loss experience to analyze risk and determine product requirements. Communicate binding instructions to insurers and maintain quality service plans for accurate policy documentation. Present renewal proposals, negotiate complex insurance programs with underwriters, and conduct stewardship meetings. Generate new sales through existing clients and referrals while managing timely billing and collection. Manage the growth of the client P&L and develop relationships with Economic Buyers and Risk Managers. Work at least three days per week in the Toronto office with one anchor day for team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in insurance
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to independently service medium- to larger-end (somewhat complex) accounts
- Developed client relationships with Economic Buyer and Risk Manager
- Good knowledge of client risk issues and Marsh solutions
- Effectively manage and retain renewal business
- RIBO and/or CIP License
- Computer literate with proficiency in email, spreadsheet software as well as in-house proprietary financial and sales-reporting systems
- Must be available for at least three days per week in the office
- Must be available for at least one anchor day per week in the office

- Experience managing a book of clients
- Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines
