Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on deposit and loan products while assessing unique financial goals. Process customer and account information, open new consumer and business accounts, and complete service requests and credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service technologies to optimize the client experience. Build and foster relationships through outreach and follow-up, recommending solutions based on each customer's needs. Maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and branch policies to deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five or more years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
