Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to provide counsel on banking needs and deposit/loan products. Process transactions, open new consumer and business accounts, and submit credit applications while maintaining a digital-first mindset. Proactively educate clients on self-service technologies and emerging digital products, then recommend solutions based on unique financial goals. Build and foster relationships through consistent outreach, follow-up, and collaborative partnerships with branch team members to ensure operational excellence and accuracy in serving all customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
