Job Summary
Greet clients in person, by appointment, or virtually to assess banking needs, process transactions, and recommend deposit and loan products. Build relationships through proactive outreach, open new consumer and business accounts, and complete service requests while educating clients on digital self-service tools. Maintain a working knowledge of retail banking policies and products to provide consistent, optimal client experiences across all channels. Requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, NMLS registration, and a background in retail banking.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to read, write, and speak in business-level proficiency of the Spanish language
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services

- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
