Job Summary
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide banking counsel. They educate clients on available deposit and loan products, open new consumer and business accounts, process service requests, and submit credit applications. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, identifying each client’s financial needs, and recommending solutions using a digital-first mindset. Collaboration with branch teammates and knowledge of retail banking products and policies are essential, along with ability to demonstrate digital self-service technologies and effectively engage clients to meet their financial goals. Regulatory compliance with NMLS/S.A.F.E. Act and Reg Z, as well as background and credit checks, are required. Strong communication, customer service, and sales-campaign experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- NMLS registration (required) under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, with background and credit checks as part of the process
