Job Summary
Greet clients in-person, by appointment, or virtually to build trust and assess their banking needs. Process transactions, open new accounts, and submit credit applications while educating customers on deposit, loan, and digital products. Proactively reach out to existing clients to identify solutions for their unique financial goals and recommend appropriate services. Maintain accurate records of customer information and leverage self-service technologies to optimize the client experience. Requires NMLS registration, a high school diploma, and four to five years of retail banking experience. Full-time, five days per week at 11521 SE Sunnyside Rd, Clackamas, OR.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
- Ability to comply with applicable local laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act as well as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
- Ability to comply with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA)
- Ability to comply with FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, the NFA, the FCPA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the SAFE Act, and/or federal guidelines applicable to an agreement
- Ability to comply with ethics, safety, or operational procedures
- Ability to comply with applicable law regarding protected factors (race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status)
Desired Qualifications
- Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
