Job Summary
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual engagement, providing guidance on deposit and loan products while educating clients on available digital self-service tools. Responsibilities include proactive outreach and follow-up to assess clients’ financial needs, opening new accounts, submitting credit applications, processing basic transactions, and collaborating with branch teams to deliver an optimal client experience. Requires knowledge of retail banking products and policies, plus the ability to demonstrate digital banking options and self-service technologies. NMLS registration and related background/credit checks are required. Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- NMLS registration under the SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z, including criminal background and credit check
