Job Summary
Build relationships with customers via in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide counsel on deposit and loan products. Greet clients, process basic transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while completing service requests and credit applications. Proactively educate clients on emerging digital products and self-service technologies to optimize the client experience. Maintain a working knowledge of banking policies and procedures to recommend solutions based on each customer's unique goals. Requires NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including a criminal background and credit check. This role is based at a U.S. Bank location in Valencia, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems

- Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry
