Job Summary
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers through in-person, by appointment, and virtual channels to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital-first mindset. Responsibilities include assessing customers’ banking needs, educating clients on deposit and loan products, opening new accounts, processing basic transactions, and collaborating with branch teams to deliver an optimal client experience. Requires knowledge of consumer and business banking products, proficiency with digital self-service options, ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions, and adherence to NMLS/Security requirements. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, relationship development, and maintaining operational accuracy in servicing clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
- NMLS registration under the SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z (required as part of the role)
- Ability to open new consumer and business accounts
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate clients on digital products and self-service technologies
- Proactive outreach and relationship building with clients
